Braunbaer Hotel & Spa - Wengen

The pool area can feel cramped during peak hours!!! The outdated room decor needs attention, and those troublesome soap dispensers need a serious redesign!!! Please reconsider the uncomfortable heavy keychains for room access!!!

Lovely small and luxurious accommodation with reasonably good staff who was genuinely concerned to provide the best possible service.

The breakfast was large with milk, the food was excellent. Location: the hotel was near Wengen as well as the mountains during ski season. Found Crystal bar with perfect drinks 800 feet away.

I loved my stay here, especially the lovely view from my room with a small balcony and the delicious breakfast that had plenty of options. I really enjoyed the sauna and the relaxing atmosphere by the swimming pool. The only hiccup was the bathroom needed some updates, but it didn’t spoil my overall great experience. 😊

Large and savoury breakfast with milk - fruit juices and bacon. Incredible, amazing location to mountains beyond. Also - just off 125 to the train as well as the Maennlichen.

Already on arrival we felt welcome and at home. The staff was very friendly and courteous and even the hotel manager took his time for us. The range of activities was very large so we enjoyed a torchlight walk followed by a raclette evening in the hut of the hotel garden. The hotel is located right next to the gondola station of the Maennlichen cable car. In a short time we were on the slopes. We liked it very much, we'd love to come back.

Large, heated indoor swimming pool

It had good and unbeatable location with access to Wengen-Mannlichen nearby. The restaurant was particularly good for dinner here, I had excellant dishes. The stuff was absolutely friendly and highly efficient, so I would stay here again.

Nice hotel with a pool in front of the lift. Very convenient as a starting point for hiking and trips to Jungfrau.

great amenities but room layout could improve

The duplex family room offered a spacious loft that our kids loved, giving them their own space to play. The pool was a highlight for our family. We enjoyed quality time there every afternoon. The staff were pleasant.

The friendly staff provided complementary gifts for my child, and the scenic view from our balcony was good! The hotel had kid-friendly hours for the pool.

Beware of occasional noise from the main street, which can disrupt your rest! The decor feels outdated, and some areas could benefit from a refresh to enhance the experience.

Indoor swimming pool - dirty under the large cover roller! Payment in Euro instead of CHF by credit card. Very bad price was charged. The customer was not asked beforehand which currency he would like to have debited. Rooms were old. Especially the bathroom.
